The main pitfall is that I wont have all the contacts that I had built up over the last three years. But I think a clean slate is helpful as it gives me the chance to not make the mistakes I made and hopefully reach those mile stones faster with the knowledge that I have gained over the past three years. What I have learnt is:
- blog regularly and blog heaps, I am no good at writing long articles but I am better at short sharp points and seeing the more I blogged in my first blog account the more contacts I had made
- follow relatable content: as it was a personal blog I followed things from all over the place and was not necessarily constants. I think by following blog that are involved with crafting, model making, design and ideas will be the best way for me to connect.
That is all for now. 🙂
