CBT methods of getting things done

I am most of the time highly efficent, though every now and then I have slow periods, where I can’t do anything for a week. I plan for this and make ways to get myself moving again. Here are a few ways:

  • I clean, make sure things are need, find joy in doing a project really slow
  • I surround myself with outgoing people, to change my perspective
  • I cancel events, and just relax, go for a walk and spend time by myself

It is sometimes hard when I have my slow periods to get anything done, but I know it is just my thinking that is making me slow and practicing cognitive behavior therapy methods work for me.
